ONLY 20 MORE DAYS TO GO UNTIL DANGEROUS LIAISONS IS RELEASED ON BLUE-RAY!!
The release date is February 7, 2012.

It's been pre-ordered and anticipated with great impatience.

I am so curious to see how much the picture quality will enhance the costumes and gorgeous furniture, I expect we'll be able to view the finest details.

The famous Flamenco shower curtain by Anthropologie evokes summer romance with those opaque blues and greens...so romantic and extra shabby.
Such a pretty pink color and darling bottle by L'Occitane (Cherry Blossom, Eau De Toilette).
Another great product that fits into the Shabby life-style is the Almond line by L'Occitane, because the packaging can be enjoyed just as much as the product inside of it. My absolute favorite is the Almond Milk Concentrate, it is pure heaven on earth! It moisturizes and (supposedly) firms the skin. I am not too convinced about the latter, but can testify for the initial statement. No more bumps on my arms caused by dryness since I've been using this...and the scent is out of this world! It is clean, creamy-milky-vanilla yumminess. I am trying to think what to use the glass container for when the cream is gone, because it is so cute.
I have never heard of K Hall Designs until I was on the hunt for a milk-like parfume with a hint of vanilla in it. That's when I came across this unique little scent that is quiet different from all the parfumes I've ever smelled before. It is made by a privately owned company right here in the States. The packaging is also nice to look at so it can be left out on the dresser all the time, there is no need to hide this one!
It is a darling little scent; so warm and comforting during these long, cold winter nights. It does smell like creamy vanilla with a hint of coconut in it and luckily the coconut is not sunscreen like and definitively not too prominent.
Winter by Anthropologie
Anthropologie is another favorite place to look for inspirations as their aesthetics are also close to mine. I love this photo so much; there is a warm, fuzzy feeling that I get when I look at it. To me, this picture says holiday, winter and peace like nothing else..
The beautiful Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture Plaque

My little "office"

Two more beauties

What better way to start a new blog but with a few new chairs. I had my eyes on these beautiful Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Darcy chairs for a long long loooong time. Finally received 2 from Hubby for Christmas and for my birthday. Then when we saw how beautiful they are, we ordered 3 more for the dining table. So we'll have 5 all together soon (I'll post pictures when I have them all here)! They were quiet the expense but we've been saving for a while...so finally it happened!

I am a huge Rachel Ashwell fan and a sucker for anything she does, her taste collides with mine, or should I say my taste with hers? The interesting thing is, even before I learned about her I loved this style (although I wasn't able to streamline it until I  got familiar with Shabby Chic), so I am eternally grateful to her for being such an inspiration not only on decorating but on the ups and downs of life through her books and blog posts as well.
